Since 2017 – 1st Maine is a homestead, family garden, and a small scale craft commercial supplier.  Our commercial supply, is our own favorite personal surplus.  The goal is to share the highest quality food and products we ourselves enjoy.  1st Maine was formerly MOFGA certified organic for several years, but has transitioned to regenerative living soil which meets or exceeds the “organic” standard.  Farmer Eric is a wholesale only supplier for the purpose of getting to be home with family full-time, and wouldn’t have it any other way.  Our heritage is 100% Dutch farmers on one side, an innate “knack” for growing comes with it.  We are blessed and honored to be able to own a 100+ year old farm an orchard, and intend to keep it that way.  Thank you for visiting and feel free to get in touch.
